The petitioner seeks bail in Barachatti P.S. Case No.148 of 2019, registered under Sections 20 and 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that 682 gms. of opium in liquid form is said to have been recovered from the joint house of the petitioner and for that the petitioner is in jail since 27.03.2019, but it appears that commercial quantity of opium was recovered from the house of the petitioner. Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
