ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 09-04-2024 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has stated that the husband of the petitioner was working as Nayak in the army and died on 10.03.2023. That the petitioner was married to the said deceased, Nayak Shashikant Kumar Pandey on 19th June, 2019 and he nominated all the movable and immovable assets in her name. After the death of the husband of the petitioner, she made a representation to the Branch Manager, Punjab Nation Bank, Baniapur Branch, Saran seeking to transfer the amounts which are lying in the account

Patna High Court CWJC No.16506 of 2023(2) dt.09-04-2024 2/3 of her deceased husband into her name but till date, the Bank authorities have not taken any decision on the said representation. Learned counsel, therefore, prays this Hon'ble Court to direct the respondents-Bank to consider the representation made by the petitioner and make necessary payment for disbursing amount standing in the name of her late husband.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents-Bank has stated that he has no objection if a direction is given to the respondents-Bank to consider the representation made by the petitioner in accordance with law.

3. Having regard to the above made submission, the present writ petition is disposed of directing the Respondent No. 4 to consider the representation made by the petitioner duly taking into account the marriage certificate, the declaration certificate made by the deceased husband of the petitioner, the letter no. P/15728548A/FP-1/NER, dated 22nd May, 2023 written by the Lieutenant Colonel, Senior Record Officer and also any other documents in support of the petitioner, as expeditiously as possibly preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the present writ petition
