The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Tarari P.S. Case No. 76 of 2019 (Excise Case No. 878 of 2019), registered for offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused. Further submission is that nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 19.08.2019.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the

Case No. 76 of 2019 (Excise Case No. 878 of 2019).
