The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Hilsa Police Station Case No.374 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 324 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Five persons are alleged to have fired at the informant, causing injury at the lower part of the right leg. Submission is that there is no injury report on the record and the allegation is not specific against anyone, as to whose fire had caused injury. Such allegations are easy to level and difficult to prove.

No.57313 of 2018(3) dt.03-12-2018 2/2 Considering the criminal antecedent of the petitioners of identical nature, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners, above named, on anticipatory bail. Hence, prayer is refused. However, in the event of their surrender before the court below within three weeks, their prayer for regular bail shall be considered without being prejudiced by this order.
