JUSTICE ALOK KUMAR PANDEY ORAL ORDER 22-11-2024 This application has been filed for modification of the order dated 21.05.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 30672 of 2024 seeking extension of time for furnishing bail bonds of the petitioner.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was not able to arrange the money/sureties , and as such, he could not surrender before the Court below within the stipulated period. Learned counsel submit that petitioner is a poor man and as such it took long time for him to arrange the money. Learned counsel, therefore, prays that the time granted for surrender may be extended by another four weeks' from today.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, the period granted for surrender is extended by another four weeks from today, in connection with Rosera P.S. Case No. 458 of 2023 to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate I, Rosera, Samastipur, subject to payment of cost which is quantified at Rs. 2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand) to be deposited in the Patna High Court Legal Services Committee.

4. The order dated 21.05.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 30672 of 2024 is modified to the above extent.

5. Rest of the condition as stipulated in the order dated 21.05.2024 shall remain as it is.

5. The present modification application, accordingly, stands allowed.
