Petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Chakia P.S. Case No.289 of 2022 registered under Sections 341, 323, 354A and 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case. The husband (informant) of the victim has filed the present case under Section 498A of the I.P.C. against his mother and father. It is further submitted that the informant anyhow wanted to get the properties of petitioner no.2 transferred in his favour. Having considered the above facts and circumstances
