JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 23-04-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That, this writ application is being filed for issuance of a writ in the nature of "mandamus" commanding and directing the respondents authority to appoint the petitioner in the office of Jaynagar Nagar Panchayat on the ground of compassionate appointment in place of his deceased mother, who was regular employee of Nagar Panchayat, Jaynagar."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the petitioner has died, during the interregnum period, the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous, however, the legal heirs of the deceased-employee

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed off.
