Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Mishra, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that for the relief(s), which the petitioners have prayed for in the present writ petition, they have already filed a detailed representation before the District Magistrate, Katihar and seeks to pursue remedy before him.

3. Considering the aforesaid submission made on

Patna High Court CWJC No.16103 of 2023(2) dt.08-01-2024 2/2 behalf of the petitioners, the District Magistrate, Katihar, is directed to take steps to call for the records relating to the concerned headquarter village, as well as, the proposed construction of Panchayat Headquarter on the government land or any land contributed by the petitioners or any person willing to register the same in the name of the State Government. Thereafter, considering the development work, the District Magistrate, Katihar, must ensure to take appropriate decision within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

4. Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of.
