This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Angarghat P.S. Case No. 12 of 2023 (Sessions Trial No. 470 of 2023) registered for the offence punishable under Sections 394 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

The petitioner and others are said to have killed the deceased while committing robbery. The petitioner is in custody since 09.02.2023. He is also an accused in a case of committing theft. During the investigation, materials have come to connect the petitioner with the crime.

Considering the seriousness of allegation, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of regular bail.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial of this case and conclude the same as early as possible. If there is no substantial progress in the trial, the petitioner may move before this Court for bail.
