The petitioner is in custody in connection with Bettiah Mufassil (Manuapul) P.S. Case No. 498 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 467, 468, 471, 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(A), 30(B) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedents.

Referring to the prosecution case he submits that in the F.I.R. 14 persons named accused involve in manufacturing sale and purchase of illicit wine. He further submits that no liquor was recovered from the possession or house of the petitioner.

No.77193 of 2018(2) dt.10-01-2019 2/2 Considering the aforesaid, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Learned Special Judge (Excise), Bettiah, District- West Champaran in connection with Bettiah Muffasil (Manuapul), P.S. Case No. 498 of 2018.
