JUSTICE SANJEEV PRAKASH SHARMA ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 29-03-2023 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a poor fellow. The engagement of STBAs (Station Ticket Booking Agents) at the Railway Station Forbesganj was cancelled by giving a 30 days notice. The period was earlier for a period of three years which has been cut short on account of the cancellation notice.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner ought to have been allowed to function for three years as originally directed. I have considered the submissions.

Patna High Court CWJC No.278 of 2023 dt.29-03-2023 2/2 Admittedly, it is a contractual engagement which has been cut short by giving a 30 days notice vide order dated 14.10.2022, cancelling the same on 12.11.2022. The petitioner, therefore, has a right for claiming damages, if any. However, no right exists for getting the contract.
