The petitioner is in custody in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 155 of 2016 for the offenses under Section 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that only because of the bad name the petitioner has been made accused in this case. He further submits that two persons were arrested at the spot including the petitioner. The other co-accused has been granted bail by the court below but this petitioner has to approach this Court.
