2. This application is filed for modification of order dated 24.06.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 22201 of 2023.
3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail on 24.06.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 22201 of 2023 with a direction to the petitioner to surrender before the Court below within four weeks from today, the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, East Champaran, Motihari in
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.80361 of 2023(2) dt.06-03-2024 2/2 connection with Motihari Town P.S. Case No. 320 of 2022 but due to ill, the petitioner could not surrender and furnish the bail bonds before the Court below within the stipulated time.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to extend the time for furnishing the bail bonds of the petitioner.
5. In view of the matter, let the time to surrender of the petitioner, as ordered on 24.06.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 22201 of 2023 be further extended by four weeks from the date of receipt of this order.
6. Accordingly, the modification application is allowed and the order dated 24.06.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 22201 of 2023 is modified to the above extent. (Chandra Prakash Singh, J) Gautam/- U T
