2. The present writ petition has been filed for the issuance of direction to respondent authorities to grant the matric trained pay scale to the petitioners from the date of their joining in the light of CWJC No. 6139 of 2007 (Ram Ashish Tiwary & Ors Vs. The State of Bihar & Ors) dated 31.03.2011

Patna High Court CWJC No.16225 of 2023(2) dt.17-12-2024 2/2 which was upheld by the Division Bench of this Court by the judgment dated 16.08.2017 passed in LPA No. 756 of 2015.

By way of filing counter affidavit, in paragraph No. 10, learned counsel for the State respondent submits that in the light of order passed by this Hon'ble Court, Respondent No. 4 has issued a letter vide Letter No. 432 dated 20.04.2020 (Annexure-R/1 to the counter affidavit) which has been sent to all District Education Officers of Bihar wherein it is stated that those teachers who have obtained higher degree during their service period and have been appointed before 31.12.1995 shall be granted Matric Trained Pay Scale after completion of 12 years from the date of appointment. He further submits that in light of the aforesaid letter, petitioners have also been granted Matric Trained Pay Scale from the date of publication of training result and as such, instant writ application has become infructuous.

4. In view of the aforesaid submission and the fact that grievance of the petitioners has already been redressed by the concerned respondents, this writ petition stands disposed of. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Navya/- U
