JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 07-08-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1.(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing upon the respondents concerned especially respondent no. 5 to supply the copy of merit list dated 28.05.2012 to the petitioner regarding selection of Manoj

Patna High Court CWJC No.17696 of 2023(2) dt.07-08-2024 2/3 Kumar on the post of Gramin Dak Sevak Branch Post Master in Sambey Post Office under Warisaliganj upDakghar in Nawada District in pursuant to the order dated 31.05.2023 passed in Second Appeal No. CIC/POSTS/A/2022/160537 by the Respondent Central Information Commissioner, New Delhi as Manoj Kumar has been wrongly and illegally selected on the post of Gramin Dak Sevak Branch Post Master Sambey Post Office in spite of petitioner having better qualification than the said Manoj Kumar.

(ii) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the Respondents concerned to supply copy of all Educational Certificates to the petitioner on the basis of that Manoj Kumar has been selected on the post of Gramin Dak Sevak Branch Post Master in Sambey Post Office."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so
