The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 342,323,448,384,375,334 of the Indian Penal Code. Submission is that both sides are agnates. Land dispute is there between the two.

In the aforesaid background, allegation is that the petitioners, who are family members including the female members of the family, demanded ransom from the informant to allow the informant to go on with the construction of his house.

No.70229 of 2019(2) dt.17-01-2020 2/2 Further allegation is of commission of assault and theft etc. Considering the nature of relationship and background of allegation, let the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of the order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000 (Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned court below where the case is pending in connection with Hajipur Town P.S.Case No. 656 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure and further the petitioners shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
