2. One Manmanth Kumar was killed by unknown criminals. During investigation it has come that the deceased was killed in the vehicle belonging to the petitioner. The petitioner, Aman Kumar, R.K. Singh were travelling in the vehicle and this petitioner has given a self inculpatory statement that Aman Kumar and R.K. Singh has killed the deceased and he was driving the car.

3. Learned counsel for the informant has submitted that the petitioner has also participated in the killing. The victim was killed in his car and thereafter the body was dumped on the roadside and the car was thereafter kept hidden at Bazar Samiti.

4. If the petitioner was not involved in the murder of the victim, he should have approached the police just after the murder of the victim.

5. Considering the materials available on record, I am of the view that the petitioner has participated in the murder of the victim and has tried to make out a case as if he was not involved in the murder. The petitioner is in jail since 09.08.2023.

6. Considering the above discussions, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. This application stands dismissed.
