Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Complaint Case No.C2-530/19/531/19 for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The Prosecution report prepared by the SSB personnel shows that a total quantity of 129.600 litres of Nepali Soufi illicit liquor has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

Having regard to the submissions made by the parties and taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 24.08.2019, I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J.II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Sitamarhi, in connection with Complaint Case No.C2-530/19/531/19.
