The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Koran Sarai P.S. Case No. 134 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 149,188, 332, 333, 353, 504, 506, 427, 201 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a), of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

The allegation is regarding the police having raided the house of a co-accused, namely, Mahesh Ram and liquor was recovered and from the spot, the son of the said accused person i.e. the petitioner herein was apprehended. Thereafter, a mob of about 20-25 persons including the petitioner are said to have used criminal force to deter the police personnel from discharging their duty.

It is further submitted that the petitioner is having a clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 23.11.2018.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District Judge-II-cum- Special Judge, Excise Act, Buxar in connection with Koran Sarai P.S. Case No. 134 of 2018.
