This is an application for grant of regular bail filed on behalf of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody in connection with Purnea Sadar PS Case No. 645 of 2018 for the alleged offence punishable under Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 and Section 272/273 of the Indian Penal Code.

In the instant case, total 36.120 liters of foreign liquor was seized. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 05.11.2018. He admits that there is a criminal case against the petitioner but not under the provisions of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Considering the totality of the fact situation, this
