Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Piro (Hasan Bazar) P.S. Case No. 467 of 2022 registered for the offences under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Amendment Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the instant case due to dirty village politics. It is also submitted that from the FIR itself it is evident that the petitioner is neither the owner of the alleged vehicle nor he was apprehended on the spot from the alleged car. Further submission is that nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and he is a man of no criminal antecedent.

No.5257 of 2023(2) dt.18-04-2023 2/2 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, the petitioner, above named is directed to be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing personal bond to the satisfaction of Special Court, Excise, Bhojpur in connection with Piro (Hasan Bazar) P.S. Case No. 467of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
