The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 179 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 379, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is to have assaulted the informant and his family members by means of iron rod and fire arms with intention to cause death along with other 12 named co-accused persons.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. It is submitted that allegation

No.77061 of 2023(3) dt.15-03-2024 2/2 against this petitioner is not specific rather the allegation as regard to assault is general and omnibus in nature against this petitioner. It is submitted that admittedly there is land dispute in between the parties. It is further submitted that petitioner is in custody since 06.08.2023.

Learned APP appearing for the State, opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner. 6.

Considering the facts and circumstances and submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 179 of 2023 on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chapra.
