The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Hilsa P.S.Case No.383 of 2018 instituted for the offences punishable under Section 147, 148, 149 and 307 of the IPC and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
Petitioner allegedly caused fire arm injury at the neck of Lalan Prasad. Petitioner is in custody since 14.07.2018. Earlier prayer for bail was refused on 22.04.2019 as it was informed by learned counsel for the informant that the trial is likely to conclude very soon as only the investigating officer and the doctor are to be examined as prosecution witnesses. Today, learned counsel for the informant submits that only doctor is to be examined on 16.01.2020.

No.66032 of 2019(2) dt.08-01-2020 2/2 Considering the period already undergone by the petitioner as under trial prisoner, let the above named petitioner be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District Judge-I, Hilsa in connection with Sessions Trial No.597 of 2018 arising out of Hilsa P.S.Case No.383 of 2018, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
