The petitioners seek bail in connection with Excise Case No. 1540 of 2018 arising out of Ara Town P.S. Case No. 569 of 2018 for the offence under Sections 30 and 36 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners, who are of clean antecedent, are innocent and have not committed any offence. In fact, nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioners. The petitioners are rotting in judicial custody since 25.09.2018.

No.78607 of 2018(2) dt.25-01-2019 2/2 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the, above named, petitioners be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge Excise, Bhojpur at Ara in connection with Excise Case No. 1540 of 2018 arising out of Ara Town P.S. Case No. 569 of 2018.
