The sole petitioner, apprehending his arrest in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 306 of 2017 registered for the offence under Sections 414/ 420/34 of Indian Penal Code 1860 and Section 36, 27/B, 27/C, 27(d) , 28, 28(A) of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and Amendment Act, 2008 has prayed for grant of bail in the event of his arrest or surrender. Shri Sumeet Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner while pressing the petition submits that the so- called medicines which were recovered from the house does not belong to the petitioner and petitioner has falsely been implicated.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7056 of 2018(2) dt.13-02-2018 2/2 Besides hearing, I have perused the materials available on record particularly the FIR and after going through the same, I am of the opinion that in such cases no leniency is required to be taken.
The petition stands dismissed.
