The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Vaishali (Belsar O.P.) P.S. Case No.340 of 2016 registered under Sections 304-B and 201 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code. According to the prosecution case, the daughter of the informant was killed within two years of her marriage in her matrimonial home and her dead body has been hurriedly disposed of. The petitioner happens to be the husband of the deceased. Keeping in mind the gravity of the offence and the nature of allegation made in the first information report, I am not inclined
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.22539 of 2018 (2) dt.03-05-2018 2/2 to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner.
The application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected. In case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same shall be considered on its own merits without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
