Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for offences punishable under section 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

The specific allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner was working to the post of Block Agriculture Officer at Barauli in the District of Darbhanga and after lodging of the FIR against him, he handed over the charge of the records of Panchayat Teachers appointment to his successor. The aforesaid allegation is further supported by Annexure-2.

In view of the allegation that the petitioner
