DR No. 427/Arms 20.08.2016 has been registered but till today the licensing authority is sitting

At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondent-State submits, by referring to the counter affidavit filed in the present case, that the District Magistrate, Saran at Chapra, by an order dated 21.03.2024/15.06.2024 passed in Arms License Case No. 06 of 2017, has already rejected the case of the petitioner for grant of arms license. 3.

In view of the aforesaid, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the aforesaid order, by filing appropriate appeal under Section 18 of the Arms Act, 1959. Liberty, so sought, is granted. 4.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
