Petitioner, who is husband of the deceased, is in custody since 26.4.2019 in a case registered for the offence under sections 304B/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code on the allegation that he along with his family members, subjected the victim to cruelty and finally killed her for non-fulfilment of dowry demand and secretly disposed of the dead body. Learned counsel for the petitioner, refuting the allegation, submits that the victim died of some ailment. Learned counsel for the informant submits that there is allegation against the petitioner that he was in habit of demanding dowry for which he and his family members killed informant's daughter.

In view of the seriousness of the allegation, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
