2. The petitioner, by way of present writ application, seeks direction to the Assistant Electric Engineer, Electric

Patna High Court CWJC No.17109 of 2025 dt.25-11-2025 2/3 Supply Sub Division, South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited, Digha, Patna (Respondent No. 5) to consider the online application submitted by the petitioner for providing an electric connection in her premises, situated at Netaji Subhash Marg, Atal Nagar, Police Station- Rajiv Nagar, District- Patna.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has duly applied for providing new electric connection through online mode. He further submits that when no connection was granted to the petitioner, she approached Respondent No. 5 but could not succeed.

4. Learned counsel for the S.B.P.D.C.L. submits that the application of the petitioner shall be considered in accordance with law and the Respondent No. 5 shall take a decision on the application of the petitioner within a period of four weeks positively.

5. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the submissions, Respondent No. 5 is directed to consider the application of the petitioner for grant of new electric connection within a period of four weeks from today and if the application of the petitioner is found in order, the electric connection shall be provided to the petitioner's household immediately.
