Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under section147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 308, 354, 379, 504, 506 of I.P.C.

As per the prosecution case, all the FIR named accused persons including this petitioner assaulted the informant and her family. The allegation against the petitioner is that he assaulted Priyanka Devi with lathi as a result of which she sustained grievous injury.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case due to previous enmity and grudge. There is land dispute between the parties.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.74698 of 2022(3) dt.13-04-2023 2/2 bail and he further submits that Rakesh Kumar caused injury to Priyanka devi which is found to be grievous in nature by the doctor. Petitioner has got one criminal antecedent. Considering the nature of injury caused by the petitioner, prayer for pre-arrest bail of the petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Kaushik/- U T
