2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Ghoghardiha P.S. Case No. 112 of 2021 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 386, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. Extortion of Rs. 5 lakhs was demanded from the victim. The petitioner is accused in 36 cases only which are of similar and serious nature. The petitioner is in jail since 25.11.2022.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

5. Considering the criminal antecedents, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, the application stands dismissed.

7. The District Judge, Madhubani is directed to get the trial of all the cases which are pending against the petitioner expedited.
