2. Petitioners seek bail in Ekma P.S. Case No. 219/2023 (S.Tr.No. 176/2024), registered for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 324, 302, 307, 504, 506, 147, 148, 149 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, petitioners alongwith other co-accused came at the door of informant and abused him. It is further alleged that petitioner no. 1 (Lalu Mahto) assaulted informant's father with knife, whereas petitioner no. 2 is alleged to have assaulted uncle of informant with knife, on account of which, both of them died during course of treatment.

4. Trial Court report reveals that uptilnow, five witnesses have already been examined on behalf of prosecution and only doctor & I.O. of the case are to be examined.

5. Considering the nature of accusation and progress of trial, the prayer for bail of petitioners is rejected. However, since the petitioners are in custody since 12.06.2023, the Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible preferably within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.
