2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 108, 3(5), 120(B) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3. Informant, namely Munni Kumari, alleged that accused persons used to torture husband of informant to close his C.S.P. centre and also assaulted and demanded ransom of Rs. 2 lakhs. Informant further alleged that on 19.11.2024, accused persons closed C.S.P. of informant's husband and due to that, husband of informant committed suicide on 20.11.2024.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner is primary teacher in UMS Megha School and has got no concern with the alleged occurrence. As a matter of fact, wife of petitioner namely Nutan Kumari and co-accused Ranjeet Kumar
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72642 of 2025(4) dt.28-01-2026 2/2 Gupta are also running C.S.P. in the same block and due to business rivalry, petitioner and co-accused Ranjeet Kumar Gupta have been made accused in this case. In fact, husband of informant had taken huge loan from the bank and out of frustration, he committed suicide. During investigation, no material has come to suggest that this petitioner has played any role or instigated the deceased to commit suicide. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner, in the event of arrest/surrender within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 1st A.D.J.-cum-Special Judge, Araria in connection with Kuari P.S. Case No. 75 of 2024, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) anay U T
