1. The limited prayer, made by the petitioner, in the present case is to direct the District Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram to dispose off the application filed by the petitioner for grant of arms license on 31.12.2020.

2. Per contra, the learned counsel for the respondentState submits that in case any application has actually been filed by the petitioner and is still pending, the same shall be disposed off, within a stipulated time frame, as is fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Magistrate,

Patna High Court CWJC No.16546 of 2024(2) dt.28-10-2024 2/2 Rohtas at Sasaram to dispose off the aforesaid application, filed by the petitioner for grant of arms license, in case the same has actually been filed and is still pending, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
