2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Sangrampur P.S. Case No. 160 of 2023 dated 01.06.2023 registered for the offences punishable u/s 304B read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and the co-accused persons are alleged to have committed murder of the informant's sister due to non-fulfillment of demand of motorcycle and a golden chain as dowry under conspiracy. It is further alleged that the petitioner has illicit relationship with the co-accused, Nilu Singh. It is further alleged that earlier the deceased has also made complaint to Mahila Thana with regard to torture against the petitioner and the co-accused, Nitu Singh

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased and he has no concern with the alleged offence. The petitioner is neither demanded any dowry nor tortured the informant's sister. Learned counsel has further submitted that the allegation of illicit relationship between Nilu Singh (bhabhi) and the petitioner is super addition and absolutely false. The petitioner has clean antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 01.07.2024.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner and submitted that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased who committed muder of the informant's sister due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. It is further submitted that the petitioner had illicit relationship with the co-accused, Nitu Singh. As per the postmortem report of the deceased, cause of death could not be ascertained and the viscera is preserved for chemical examination.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the heinous nature of allegation against the

7. Learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and concluded the same at the earliest.
