Petitioners, already in custody, seek bail in connection with Dharhara PS Case No.186 of 2017, registered under Sections 302, 120(B), 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation in brief is that the informant's daughter was married to the petitioners' son ten years back. She was mentally ill and on that account, she was assaulted by the family members and more particularly by her husband, on that account, the husband of the deceased did not like her. It is contended that the thrust of allegation is against the husband and petitioners are old parents and the husband is in custody; whereas learned counsel for the State submits that the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.13787 of 2018(3) dt.02-05-2018 2/2 lady was found killed as she died of strangulation and dead body was found thrown at a deserted place.
Having considered that the specific thrust of allegation is against the husband, so petitioners, namely, Basudev Chaudhary and Sugiya Devi @ Sulia Devi are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM, 1st, Munger in connection with Dharhara PS Case No.186 of 2017.
