2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Laukahi P.S. Case No. 252 of 2022, instituted under Sections 302, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, daughter of the informant was murdered by her husband, father-in-law (petitioner), sister-in-law and mother-in-law and thrown the dead body outside in the open field.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased. Husband of the deceased has already surrendered before the learned Court

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.77802 of 2023(7) dt.20-12-2024 2/2 below on 17.12.2024. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. Petitioner has no concern with the aforesaid occurrence. Due to dispute between the husband and wife (deceased), she herself committed suicide. Petitioner undertakes to co-operate in the investigation and trial.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submission of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., Jhanjharpur, Madhubani in connection with Laukahi P.S. Case No. 252 of 2022, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 482 (2) of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (B.N.S.S.), 2023.
