2. This application has been filed for issuance of appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus directing to the respondents' authority to make recovery and produce father of petitioner namely Jamuna Sah @ Yamuna Sah, who had been missing since 2017.

3. Pursuant to the order dated 26.06.2025, the SHO of

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1606 of 2022(3) dt.03-07-2025 2/2 Brahampura Police Station, Vaishali and the I.O. of the case have appeared. They have submitted that investigation with regard to the disappearance of the petitioner's father is going on and recently, it has been learnt that the petitioner's father had executed a sale-deed in Siliguri, West Bengal.

4. On this, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the brother-in-law of the petitioner stays in Siliguri, West Bengal.

5. The SHO of Brahmapura, Vaishali has submitted that she will make efforts to recover the father of the petitioner.

6. The Senior Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarpur has also joined virtually and has submitted that an SIT is to be constituted for the recovery of the father of the petitioner.

7. In these circumstances, nothing remains in the case and accordingly, the application is disposed of. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Shishir/- U T
