The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Special (NDPS) case no. 2 of 2018 instituted for the offences punishable under Section 20(b) of NDPS Act.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 15 kgs. of ganja from beneath the seat of the bus and the petitioner has been arrested on account of suspicion.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the quantity of ganja seized is not a commercial quantity, hence the petitioner be enlarged on bail. It is further submitted that the petitioner has a clean antecedent and he is languishing in custody since 07.02.2018. Lastly, it is submitted that the co-accused person

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20595 of 2018 (4) dt.29-05-2018 2/2 namely Ajay Kr. Bhagat has been released on bail vide order dated 19.03.2018 passed in Cr.Misc. no. 15729 of 2018. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the abovenamed petitioner is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sessions Judge, Nawada in connection with Special (NDPS) case no. 02 of 2018.
