2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that he has filed a Basgit Parcha Case No.709 of 2021 before the respondent no.3 in the year 2021 but till date there no progress has been made in this case.

3. Counsel for the petitioner submits that he seeks direction from this Court to the respondent no.3 i.e. District Collector, Samastipur that he may be directed to expedite this case and pass an order in accordance with law.

4. Counsel for the State has no objection on the argument.

5. In this view of the matter, respondent no.3 i.e. District Collector, Samastipur is directed to pass a reasoned and speaking order providing opportunity to the petitioner in Basgit

Patna High Court CWJC No.1222 of 2023(3) dt.26-07-2023 2/2 Parcha Case No.709 of 2021.

6. It is made clear to the respondent no.3 i.e. District Collector, Samastipur that the order passed by this Court is without considering the merit and demerit of this case. The District Collector, Samastipur (Respondent no.3) is directed to pass an order within six months from the date of production of this order.

7. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is hereby disposed off.
