1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned AC to AAG-12 for the State and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the University.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the instant writ application has been filed seeking a direction upon the authorities for considering the case of the petitioner on the post of Librarian, which is lying vacant or in the alternative for granting officiating allowance to the petitioner as he has been working on the Post of Librarian as Incharge for the last four years.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he had represented before the Registrar of the University by his representation dated 29.06.2024 (Annexure-4 series). It is submitted that when no action was taken, the petitioner sent a reminder dated 08.08.2024.

4. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the University submits that the writ application be disposed of with a direction to the Registrar, Magadh University, Bodh Gaya to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 29.06.2024 in accordance with law within a time frame.

5. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the Registrar, Magadh University, Bodh Gaya to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 29.06.2024 within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order in accordance with law.

6. It is made clear that the Court has not gone to the merits of the case.
