Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 468, 120B/34 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a), 32(i) (ii), 36, 41(i) (ii) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

As per prosecution case, 563.400 liters of foreign liquor was recovered from pick-up van of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Nothing has been recovered from conscious possession of the petitioner.
