====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 24-01-2025 Heard Mr. N. A. Shamsi, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. Uday Pratap Singh, learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks modification of the order dated 17.10.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 64672 of 2023 for further extension of time to surrender before the learned District Court.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the order granting bail to the petitioner was not communicated to the petitioner and as such he could not surrender and furnish bail bond within the time prescribed by this Court. He informs that the petitioner is ready to surrender on or before 06.02.2025.

4. Considering the aforesaid submission made on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.79558 of 2024(2) dt.24-01-2025 2/2 behalf of the petitioner and the reasons assigned in the modification application and the affidavit, further period to surrender before the learned District Court is extended till 06.02.2025.

5. Accordingly, the modification application stands disposed of. The other part of the order dated 17.10.2023 shall remain intact.
