2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sasaram Nagar P.S. Case No. 1054 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 409 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The petitioner was the Nazir in the office of the Block. He is said to have defalcated more than Rs. 2 crores. He is in custody since 05.07.2023.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a certificate case has been filed against the petitioner, therefore, the petitioner may be granted bail.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the huge defalcation, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
