Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B), 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is husband of the victim of dowry death. Allegation is of demand of dowry and torture of the same. Petitioner is in custody since 18.01.2017.

The report of the learned court below at flag A would reveal that even trial has not been committed to the court of Sessions.

Learned counsel for the informant opposed the prayer for bail.

No.13144 of 2018 (6) dt.19-06-2018 2/2 Considering the entire facts above, especially, the period already undergone by the petitioner and non-conclusion of trial in near future, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Hajipur Sadar Police Station Case No. 337 of 2016, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
