The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26,35 of the Arms Act.

The prosecution case as lodged by the police personnel is that during patrolling duty, the petitioner was arrested for having in his possession of a country made loaded pistol and a live cartridge without any valid paper. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that charge-sheet has been submitted and there is no allegation of tampering of the prosecution witnesses by the petitioner.
