2. The petitioners seek bail in connection with Lakhisarai P.S. Case No. 311 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Section-302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per allegation, seven named and 4-5 unknown persons entered into house of the informant, Manju Devi and when she protested, the accused persons started firing as a result of which, her sister-in-law (Nanad) Basanti Devi @ Baso Devi suffered two gun shot injuries whereas her mother-in-law, Lakho Devi suffered three gun shot injuries. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case. There is case and counter case between the parties. It has further been submitted that so far pendency of the criminal antecedent of the petitioners as mentioned in paragraph-3 of the petition is concerned, all the cases have been lodged by the prosecution side.

5. Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

6. It appears that in absence of male members of the informant side, the accused persons including the petitioners equipped with arms, entered into house of the informant where only female members were present and, they opened indiscriminate firing causing death of Basanti Devi @ Baso Devi, sister-in-law (Nanad) of the informant.

7. In my view, the petitioners do not deserve the privilege of bail and accordingly, the same is rejected. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) A.K.V.//- U T
