The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case of dowry death.

Petitioner no. 1 is father-in-law, petitioner no. 2 is mother-in-law and petitioner no. 3 is married sister-in-law (Nanad) of the deceased. Thrust of the allegation is against husband of the deceased, who is already in custody since 09.05.2023 (as per supplementary affidavit). Petitioners are separate in mess & property and have got no concern with the affairs of deceased and her husband. The allegation of torture and demand of dowry is general and omnibus.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.74887 of 2022(3) dt.17-05-2023 2/2 Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Sheikhpura in connection with Barbigha P.S.
