The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No.22 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376, 323, 341, 354(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner No.1 is said to have committed rape with the informant. Petitioner No.2 is said to have assaulted the informant and her mother-in-law.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in the present case. The petitioners have got no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail petition. It is further submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.73955 of 2022(2) dt.04-02-2023 2/2 that no occurrence took place in the manner as alleged in the FIR.

Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Considering the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C., I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on anticipatory bail.
